SA SIRA uses 925 sterling silver for all jewelries
- Silver is bought in Sweden by K.A.Rasmussen and raffinated in Norway. 90% or more of the silver is recyceled from old silver and in an enviromental sufficiant and responsible way.
All other 925 silver components are also ordered in Sweden from Sargenta AB. They are made from most part recykeled silver.
Jewelry boxes are produced in Denmark by Westpack. The paper box should be treated as paper waste. The interior is cumbustible material.
Regarding all other materials used such as graphical material or shipment packaging SA SIRA´s philosophy regarding ... is applicable.
SA SIRA uses modern technology and traditional handicraft in the making of our jewelries
First step is to make a prototype and this work is made by Sara in the studio in Gothenburg, Sweden. Once a piece turns out interesting enough to produce next step is to water cut the shape. Water cutting is made in Sweden, it is a modern environmently safe technology where a very thin water jet cuts the silver into the right thickness and size.
Production is made in Latvia by Laura and Ildze.
SA SIRA uses Postnord as Shipment partner. When there is an option to climate compensate the shipment that is what SA SIRA will do.
